Well, I had a very successful first day at Kmart for double coupon week!
Here's what I got:
All of this should have cost me $51.92
Here's the breakdown:
Skintimate Shave Gel (2)
- $1.99
- Used $1.00 off coupon
- Doubled to $1.99
TOTAL = FREE!!!
Axe Shampoo (4)
- $4.99
- Used $2 coupon from coupons.com
- Doubled to $4.00
TOTAL = $0.99 each!
Wisk Detergent
- $4
- Used $1.00 coupon from coupons.com
- Doubled to $2
TOTAL = $2 each
Huggies Overnights
- $9.99
- Used $2 coupon
- Doubled to $4
TOTAL = $5.99 each
Before I gave all of my coupons to the cashier, I gave them the $5/$50 Kmart coupon, which helped to bring my total down.
My total after all coupons was $14.94
BUT...
All of the items I purchased were a part of a special promotion going on right now. If you buy $50 of participating products, you get a $14 catalina back!! You can find out the specifics of this promotion HERE
So, basically, I got all of that stuff for only 94 cents!!!
P.S. I almost forgot......With my receipt, 2 more coupons printed up! One is for $5/$25 health and beauty purchase and one is for $5/$50 purchase!

Thanks so much for the tip NOT to purchase at the service desk. I tried to do this deal last time we had doubles and was so bummed not to get my cat. I returned everything and decided to try again this time around. I will definetly use a regular check out lane! BTW, they told me last time I did not get the cat b/c I used coupons...
Michelle....It doesn't matter if you use coupons or not. The cat should print up. If for some reason it doesn't, don't hesitate to try it at a different register.
Just make sure and double check that you got everything you were supposed to. The total will need to be $50 (or whatever promotion you are doing) BEFORE tax and coupons.
