I had a reader email me with a couple of questions about the Kmart Doubles contest. I thought it would be good to answer them on here in case any of you were wondering the same thing.
Q: When you say the most money saved, is that off of the original price? For instance, if Aleve is regularly priced at $9.49, and it's on sale for 7.99 and I use a $2 off coupon that is doubled, did I save $5.49 or $3.99?
A: The savings is going to be based off of the current price of the product. If it is on sale, that is the price that will be counted towards the savings.
Q: If I use an 11th coupon that is not doubled on a transaction (e.g. $3.50 coupon off of Dove SkinVitalizer), will that count toward total $$ saved?
A: Absolutely! :)

Your rules say 4 different days. Can it be 4 different transactions in less amount of days? Just trying to plan out my trips.
Yes, it can be 4 different transactions if that is what your kmart allows. :)
So far I have three kmart transactions but on one we bought a heating pad. Do I just deduct that from the total because that was not part of the double coupons savings or is that going to count also?
