E.L.F. - $2 Shipping!!

E.L.F. is offering $2 shipping on ANY order....no minimum purchase!!! This would be great to snag some last minute gifts (or who am I kidding...get some for yourself!)

$2 Shipping On Any Purchase

For those that don't know what E.L.F. is, it is fantastic make-up that is super cheap. I'm talking $1 each!

I'm not back, but I thought this deal was too good not to post!! Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas!

Mr. Potato Head Silly Suitcase - $5

Christmas is quickly approaching! If you are looking for some last minute gift ideas, this might be a good one.

Kmart has the Mr. Potato Head Silly Suitcase on sale for $10.00. If you use the $5 coupons from HERE, you'll only pay 5 bucks! I went in and got 2 of these to keep on hand for last minute birthday gifts. (I got one Mr. and one Mrs. and let me tell you, they are adorable!) Also, my Kmart had some other Mr. Potato Heads on clearance. One was a Transformers Spud Bud. It was $6. I used the $5 Spud Bud coupon from HERE and paid $1!!! So, you might want to check the clearance rack as well, although these were mixed right in with the regular priced potato heads.

You can also take the Kmart ad to Target for a price match. I did that as well and it went very smoothly. You'll want to go over to customer service to do your transaction.

Anybody Out There?

This Coupon Clippin' Mama is missing you all, so I thought I'd say hello! I am so enjoying my time of no responsibilities other than my family. It's been wonderful. I've still been out getting deals every week, which has been great too. In fact, I am about 75% done with Christmas shopping and haven't even spent 50 bucks yet. And let me tell you, we've got some nice gifts to put under the tree!!

Here are a few other things I've been up to:

- I got 10 ounces of Bacon Wrapped Beef Filets at Walmart this week for only $0.98, with THIS $3.00 coupon!!

- I also stocked up on Up & Up Baby Wipes at Target for only $0.55 each by using the $1.00 coupon from HERE (BTW...Target recently changed some things regarding their store coupons. You can read up on it HERE)

- Got my free I Can't Believe It's Not Butter at Safeway this morning. It's on sale for $1.99 this week. If you use THIS $1.00 coupon, you'll only pay 99 cents, BUT, when you buy 2, you'll get a $2 catalina back! Translation = FREE!!

- I've still been reaping the benefits of my Swagbucks. Just recently, I received THIS beauty on my doorstep because of all of the Amazon gift cards I've gotten in exchange for my Swagbucks. I didn't even pay a dime for it!

- Speaking of Swagbucks, I've been testing out My Points. Has anyone ever tried it? It is very similar to Swagbucks. You earn points for searching the web and for several other things. You can check it out HERE. I'm very curious to know if anyone has had luck with this program.

- I have also been thoroughly enjoying Expo Tv. I'm still kind of new at it, but I've already earned enough points to get a $25 CVS gift card! Basically, you earn points by creating a one minute video reviewing different products. When you sign up, you'll get 25 points just for creating a profile, plus 500 points for your first video! I've loved this program and have found it pretty easy to rack up the points fairly quickly. Check it out HERE.

- I'm also gearing up for Black Friday!!! Who else is going out shopping?

Any hoo....that's just a tiny glimpse into my world lately. I miss posting all the great deals for you, but I do hope to be back at some point.

What have YOU all been up to? I hope you are all still out there getting GREAT deals!

I wanted to let you know why I've been unavailable these last couple of days. I've had to take a few days off to clear my head and reevaluate my priorities.

I started this blog back in May, as an experiment. I wanted to see if clipping coupons would really be worth the time and energy. If you've been following me long enough, you know that it is. Just in the last few months, I've saved around $3,000 and have been able to cut my weekly grocery budget significantly. I would say that is a successful experiment!

Very quickly, my blog grew. It grew into more than I even imagined it would when I started it. I am truly blessed to have helped thousands of people and I have LOVED reading every single email and comment each day. It has brought so much encouragement into my life in a time where I've needed it. Thank you for being the best fans ever! :)

I've had to take a real close look at the original reason that I started the blog. It was an experiment. It has now turned into somewhat of a job. It is quite a bit of work to bring you the best deals several times a day. Don't get me wrong. I LOVE doing it, but lately it has become a bit stressful. I have 4 very young children who need me. I feel like I've really had to split my time between them and the site.

My husband and I made a commitment when we got married that we would do whatever it took for me to stay home with the kids. It's taken some adjustments for us over the years. We don't eat out, or shop a lot. We get by with what we have and clipping coupons has helped that tremendously. Just recently, I feel like I've become a work at home mom. God brought me back to that time in our marriage when we made that commitment to him and to each other. The whole goal of me staying home is so that I can invest into their little lives daily. I committed to make my children my full-time job and most importantly, my ministry. I feel like God wants to help me get back on track with that commitment.

So, it is with a VERY heavy heart that I tell you that I will be needing to step down from being Coupon Clippin' Mama. This is very hard for me, but my kids and husband are the number one priority in my life right now. They are only this little once and I don't want to have any regrets on my time with them. This is such a special season of life where they are home all day. Before I know it, they'll all be in school. Like I said, I don't want to miss out on these very precious years with them. I don't think I'll ever look back and say "Wow, I wish I would have worked more". I want to be able to say that I did everything in my power to love my kids and spend lots of great quality time investing into them.

I will definitely still be clipping coupons and getting great deals and I hope you will still continue on your journey. There are plenty of other money saving blogs out there, so I won't leave you hanging. These are some of my favorite ladies and I know they'll bring you the latest and greatest deals just like I was:

Faithful Provisions
The Mommy Trade
Tomorrow's Plight
Moms By Heart
My Frugal Adventures
Deal Seeking Mom
Money Saving Mom
918 Coupon Queen

and MANY more.....

I want to close with saying a big "Thank You" to every single one of you who have made this experiment so fun and so encouraging. Without you, CCM, wouldn't have become what it is today! I may be back someday, but only time will tell. In the meantime, keep clipping those coupons and saving LOTS of money!

Sincerely,
Amy (Aka - Coupon Clippin' Mama)

Taking Time Off

I just wanted to let you all know that something came up and I need to take the next few days off. There will be a couple of things posting while I'm away, but not much. I'm sorry for any inconvenience and I appreciate your understanding and sensitivity to the situation.
